Debatable

What is beauty? Merely a point of view that anything with a bit of light is worth more than a second's thought. Secret is, there is beauty in failure and death. Beauty in failure is greater than success.

What is fear? Ego. Fear stems from the idea of potential of something better. That "better" is our ego talking to us. Fear is good but in small doses. The discrepancy between potential and reality should be the focus, not the thing you fear.

What is anger? Belief in something's potential only to be letdown.

Okay, what is potential? It's limitless. But why does it so often fail us?
Go back to question number one Carol :)

  1. Beauty in failure is not always greater than success. At times, it is more valuable, but not always.

Fear is not ego. It is, rather, the lack thereof. I would argue that it does not stem from the idea of potential to do better but the idea that there is no potential. And this fear is not good, even in small doses. It detaches us from our dreams, and leads us to abandon our hopes. We must not mistake fear with the stress we feel from failure or aspirations to do better. Fear will get us nowhere.

Anger? No, it is not belief in potential that will be let down. It is disappointment in ourselves when we don't live up to our potential. It is never really anyone else's fault. It is our failure to accept the consequences, our disappointment in how we are affected by things out of our control. We must always believe in our potential and strive to raise our limits.

Why does potential fail us? No, potential doesn't fail us. We fail to judge our potential. We fail to live up to our potential. We fail to understand that without our utmost effort, our potential will decline. We fail to understand that though our potential may be limitless, it is what we do for it that makes it limitless. We must believe in our potential, but we must remember to work to expand it.
